Outlaws Like Me (2011)

The second studio album written by Justin Moore is Outlaws Like Me (2011). The label “The Valory Music Co`released it on June 21, 2011. Jeremy Stover became its producer. Since the date of release it has got huge success, debuting at №5 on the Billboard 200 top-chart. It also got number 1 on the US Country Music Chart with 65000 sold record copies in the first week of sales. Justin Moore album became quite popular in the US and received gold certificate. There were sold more than 577000 copies.

However, it got mixed reviews from critics. Some of the sources, such as All music and Rough stock, gave «Outlaws Like Me” less than three stars. For example, All Music’s Stephen Thomas Elaine rated it three stars and mentioned about Justin improvement. He also added about the new songs, which sounded similar to leaner rock and promised more than the previous one, which was too narcissistic. Dan Macintosh from Rough stock rated this record with 1 and told that it was a useless effort, except the lead single "If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away". Moreover, he mentioned about Moore as a producer of stereotypic music.

The first single “If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away” was written by Dallas Davidson, Rob Hatch and Brett Jones. It is the cover of Rhett Akins, which did not chart in 2006. This tune was accepted very positively by critics among all the hits of the singer. It has become singer’s second number one hit on “Hot Country Songs chart” of Billboard. The ballad is highly appreciated on every singer’s concert because of its deep meaning. The second hit from the record produced in August 2011 was called “Bait a Hook”. It reached Top-20 in the US really fast and got the Gold certification with 500000 sales. It got completely mixed reviews. For example, Billy Dukes called the ballad deep and smooth whereas Kevin John Coyne said that it was badly produced and rated it with 1 star. The third single "Til My Last Day" from “Outlaws Like Me” was released in March 2012and it reached number 57 on the US Hot Country Songs. To support the album in 2013 songwriter decided to make the US tour. Most of his audience waited a lot for his arrival in their cities.
